Our desire is not simply to award a certification.
Our goal is to prepare men and women who are biblically grounded, spiritually mature, and equipped to faithfully minister to those seeking help.
We want every graduate to leave with the confidence to counsel others through the truth of Scripture while depending on the work of the Holy Spirit to bring lasting transformation.

Our Parakaletic Counselor Certification is divided into three stages.
A. Counseling Seminars: We offer six classes in three 8-week seminars. The candidate may take both classes, or just one at a time. These seminars are offered online. There are prerequisite classes that may need to be considered. For those who have already taken the prerequisite classes, our trainers are able to approve you to enter directly into the counseling seminars without having to retake them again.
B. Theology/Counseling Exam: This is an examination to determine your understanding of biblical theology along with the principles of Parakaletic Counseling. This will help our trainers to determine your level of understanding and your ability to communicate these truths.
C. Practicum: 30 hours of supervised counseling. This will be explained in more detail as the student approaches this level.
The entire certification process is only $1,250 per person. This does not include books required for the classes.
Our Parakaletic Counselor certification can be completed in as little as 12-14 months. You may want to plan on 16 months just to be safe.
There are numerous reasons for a counseling certification. Most Christian workers feel the least qualified in the area of counseling. Because of this, we have intentionally designed our certification equip you in such a way that will give you confidence to utilize the tools you will receive. You will receive practical training and gain hands-on experience. After the certification is completed, there are continuing education units (CEUs) that are available to equip the counselor in the area of specific life-dominating issues and personal development.
We offer our certification to those who are juniors in high school and older. Our application form explains in more detail who can enter the certification process.
