Parakaletic Counseling is a model of biblical counseling that identifies the counselee’s issues, and then guides them into Holy Spirit empowered victory through the believer’s identity in Christ. Once the counselee understands they victorious union with Christ, our counselors guide the counselee into accurate biblical thinking and beliefs that will in turn influence the entire life of the counselee. This is not a fleshly empowered self-will or self-determination. The change that comes about is of the Holy Spirit of God who sanctifies the Christian through the power of the Word of God.
We do not charge a fee for our services. However, we believe, as Jesus taught, “where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” Investment brings value. So we do accept donations for our ministry. This allows us to continue helping many people through counseling and producing helpful materials. Our recommended donation is $75 per session for one-on-one counseling, and $100 per session for marriage counseling. You may also choose to make a different donation.
Simply complete the “Request Counseling” form and one of our counselors will be in contact with you very soon. We offer a complimentary introductory phone call so that we can introduce ourselves to you and allow you to ask questions concerning counseling. After the phone call, you will complete the Counselee Intake Form and the Consent to Counsel Form. Once these are completed, we will schedule our first session.
We offer counseling to people who are willing to commit themselves to being guided into victorious living through biblical counsel. We counsel an array of issues that span from life-dominating issues to those who simply want to grow spiritually and everything in between.
Yes! While we do not guarantee exact results, we believe that as you are empowered by the Holy Spirit in your obedience to the Bible will always change lives. Results vary because they are dependent upon your level of commitment.
